HOW DO I BECOME A VENDOR?

ALL PROSPECTIVE VENDORS SHOULD START BY GOING TO OUR APPLY PAGE. IT WILL ANSWER ALL YOUR QUESTIONS ABOUT APPLYING TO BE A VENDOR AT PLANTASIA.

WHAT DO I NEED BEFORE APPLYING?

You must sign our vendor agreement, see below. 
You must provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) showing The Container Yard LLC as an additional insureds on your insurance policy. If you do not currently have insurance for your business you will need to purchase some before you go further.  One specialty insurance provider is the Food Liability Insurance Program. They work specifically with small food businesses for their insurance needs.

SELLERS PERMIT


The State of California requires that all vendors have a Seller’s Permit in order to regulate the collection of sales tax. If you don’t already have one, it will be your responsibility to fill out the proper forms. If you do already have one, make sure that Smorgasburg is listed as a sub-location (especially if you are registered in another city.) It is free to register.
